SPRING TRAINING

YOUTH BASEBALL / SOFTBALL

TARGET AUDIENCE: 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U teams

FORMAT: Practice 30 minutes then scrimmage like competition for 45 minutes.

WHERE: Tait Cummings & Ellis Park. Concession stand and restrooms will be available

DATES: April 5^th thru May 6, 2010 Monday – Friday. Schedules will be available no later that March 24^th

GAMES: Play 6 game schedule, 5:45 or 7:15 pm COST: $75 per team registration fee, each team pays umpire $8.00 per game

SUMMER LEAGUE

YOUTH BASEBALL/SOFTBALL

Target Audience:  9U, 10U, 11U, 12U teams

FORMAT: Instructional league designed for “A” level teams. Rules are designed to accommodate player growth and enhance learning of the game. 

WHERE: City of Cedar Rapids softball /baseball diamonds.

DATES: Saturday’s starting May 8^th

GAMES: Play seven game schedule

COST: $125.00 per team registration fee, each team pays the umpire $18.00 per game

YOUTH

INSTRUCTIONAL BASEBALL / SOFTBALL

FALL LEAGUE

TARGET AUDIENCE: 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U teams

FORMAT: Instructional drills for 20 minutes then scrimmage like competition for 60 minutes. Rules are designed to accommodate player growth and enhance learning of the game.

WHERE: Tait Cummings & Ellis Park. Concession stand and restrooms will be available

DATES: Saturday’s starting September 11, 2010. Schedules available no later than September 3^rd

GAMES: Play 6 weeks, game times 9am, 10:30, Noon, or 1:30pm

COST: $100.00 per team registration fee, each team pays the umpire $18.00 per game.
